We revised our restaurant’s name, decoration and menus. From now on, our restaurant is called Maija and it focuses on home-alike food and atmosphere.
In Maija you can take a break from your day while enjoying tasty home food. In addition, you can find different books that you can read sitting in a rocking chair, for example. Our platters are literally filled with stories about the history of home economics education.
We looked up for inspiration from Maija keittää -book by Alli Oksanen. This classic book about a Finnish kitchen was written in 1949, and it has been the foundation of families’ cooking for decades. The book is known for its practical and thorough recipes.
